Thanks Maria I guess we should give them a call then :'( The people that were mistaken as Inland did all they receive is the one mail stating AOR or did they get the second mail along with it also saying approval for SA? We got two different mails at the same time, one for AOR and one for SA etc.
If you have sa you should be fine. If you were inland you wouldn't get SA yet. When we got SA yesterday we also got another aor right before the sa email. This time it was addressed to my husband, the sponsor.
The first aor was addressed to me, which we thought was odd.

Thank you and good to know all should be good.. Gee with the already anxious what if's and waiting it would sure be crummy if someone at CIC mixed up Outland for Inland causing further delays I would assume.. In any event we are glad that something happened after 50 days of wondering and I bet you are also lleahdoll as it was an even longer wait for you and yours than it was for most here.. Happy for the good news! 8)

I will call first thing Monday morning!

Hi fizban, I am in the same situation as you - we both got AOR but no SA yet. If you do get any information on the status of your application, please let me know as I am very curious and don't want my application mistakenly put into inland too :(. I'll try to call them early next week as well - I hope I can get some useful information from them.
Thanks!

If you only got AOR and no SA with it, call and make sure your application is outland. We got SA at 64 days instead of 44 bc of their mistake.

Wow I am seeing a lot of light blue on the spreadsheet! Seems like nearly everyone who applied on or after Sept 25 got AORs instead of SAs. What's going on?

Congrats!

Thank u. It's a stress reliever knowing that we're gonna be waiting for a more longer time for the second step.

Sometimes CIC decides to send out a letter instead of an e-mail, even though you enter an e-mail address. As it has only been a few days wait a few more and hopefully you will receive sponsor approval. Note that your application may not have been sent to London as some applications which should go to London are being kept in Canada (Mississauga or Ottawa). This is generally seen as a positive. Your sponsor approval letter will state where your application has gone.

Based on my experience (I received sponsor approval on October 31st) you will not hear anything until they either request additional information or they reach decision made. I assume you have paid the RPRF already? Sit tight, you are in for a bit of a wait.
