You are right. Waiting till the last minute is not a good idea. Their website could be down, my computer could be broken, I could get too sick to work on it, etc and I think about it everyday. The stress is not worth it. I'll get it done asap. Thank you for your advice!

At the top of the page click Profile then Forum Profile Information to set your stats underneath your username.

Has anyone ordered the GCMS notes before? I ordered them 23 days ago and not a peep yet -- do they really deliver the notes within 30 days as promised?

I ordered mine June 5th and haven't received them yet. I think I'll get them within the next week.

Wow, incredible, they're really cutting it close. They have 2 more days to deliver your notes. On my email confirmation it says "If your request is complete, it will be processed within 30 calendar days from the date of receipt, unless an extension is required." Crazy.

It is actually law that they have to reply within 30 calendar days. Check out http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/A-1/page-3.html

7. Where access to a record is requested under this Act, the head of the government institution to which the request is made shall, subject to sections 8, 9 and 11, within thirty days after the request is received,
(a) give written notice to the person who made the request as to whether or not access to the record or a part thereof will be given; and

Yes they take up the 30 days. However, the notes will be printed on the date you order them. So if you ordered 23 days ago you will see what was going on with your app 23 days ago.
