I think it is not a RQ because when a RQ is issued, they don't update the status like this:IRCANADA said:So I have just opened my ECAS and it said Received. When I clicked on it, I did see a third line added. Here how it looks:
1-We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on September 17, 2014.
2-We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on December 8, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
3-We sent you a letter on January 26, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the letter before sending us additional information, as the letter will outline all information that is required. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
I have no idea what documents they are looking for since I am here in Canada since 2009 and did fly out once to Dubai in 2011 for 7 days ONLY and that would pretty much wraps it up in terms of my traveling outside Canada. This is really frustrating why I have to go through this process. Anyone in the same boat? is this a RQ?

I think they might be asking something else or specific. Someone who has got a RQ in this forum can shed more light on the status.
