I would really like to know what's causing these PPR delays!! CIC is not giving any answers besides the generic BS. They don't seem to realize that people's lives are on hold!!! :'( >:(

Sharing our timeline.

We did upfront medical Dec 2015 and paid RPRF April 20 (RPRF received April 19), PPR June 2, mailed PPs on June 7 and received back June 27.

Landed on July 24 in YYC. It only took 5 mins and we were the only ones there. Officer ripped our WPs and voided our visas. She didn't mention anything about PR card, new SIN, etc. I assume they'll just mail it in on my ECAS mailing address. I might give CIC a call just to confirm.

Application was received Sept 29.
AOR received Feb 9, 2015
Additional docs request on Feb 19

Goodluck everyone!

It's taking longer because you live in Quebec. I hope they figure out your true intentions.

But according to the GCMS notes, the Quebec intention is cleared...

The officer said if I want to leave the country, I should either wait for the PR card or apply for a "PR Visa." Not really aware of that kind of visa. We don't have any travel plans for the next couple of months so not really a problem for us.

that's interesting I've never heard of a PR VISA. I need my visa everyday for work to travel so I'll prob need one of those. Anyways congrats you're one of the few sept app that reived their PPR so early :D

I believe all of us would hear something good recently.

I guess we are all being very hopeful and the hopes are crushed to pieces every day :'(

I think the #1 cause of this delay is CIC's total indifference to the remaining CEC applications, plain and simple. We've already waited a year past our original wait time and I really don't think they care if we have to wait another entire year.

I'm gonna quit from this frustrating game and move to Australia. CIC treats people like animals. Bye Canada!
