I have question, When cross border what did you guys bring there? passport only?

Just the passport and COPR. Say the magic words "flagpoling" to the USA officer and "landing" to the Canadian one, and follow instructions :)

I looked into my recent GCMS (one week before my PPR/DM) and here are some of my findings, for those who are waiting for PPR and DM to see:

1. MR means Eligibility is at least "recommended passed".
Source: my MR was a few hours after the appearance of VO "recommend pass" Eligibility. However, Eligibility is "passed" (i.e. really passed) after 2 weeks from "recommended passed".

2. Upfront Medical that sent to CIC by email, appears on GCMS as "client sent upfront medical info." ECAS update of medical received happens after the date of this note.

3. VO will do due effort to ensure the applicant is qualified, and there isn't any mis-alignment from declared NOC to work experience.
Source: my representative asked my employer to submit a generic LOE letter, where the description of my duties are specifically related to my day-to-day work, such as the software I use and the work process which I am implementing, and not associated to my NOC code's description from the HRSDC. It is a confusing LOE even to myself.
However my notes shows web-based search conducted, employer verified, main duties appear to be met.
CIC did not contact my employer, but it looked like the VO did web search to verify my eligibility.

Hi All,

I'm Sep 29th Applicant, I have send my passports for Stamping.
Today I see my online status showing as Decision Made.
I believe once the online is updated to Decision Made, that means my PR is confirmed right? Please advise if there are any further steps.

Received my GCMS notes today. Sep 29 Applicant.

Eligibility: In progress (but can see that it is 'Recommended Passed' on March 9, 2016)
Security: Not Started
Criminality: In Progress
Medical: In progress (upfront medical IME has been associated per notes)

Sit tight and wait :(
Hi, I have the same time line as you. I also did upfront medical. Did CIC ask you for additional documents? I'm considering getting new pcc incase they request it.

Hi!

Yes, that means the decision is made. Next steps: If you are from a visa except country, they'll send you COPR by post. In my case, it took just a few days. Actually, the letter was on its way before my status changed to DM. If you are from a non-visa except country, they'll send you an email asking you to them them your passport. Then, they'll stamp your passport and return your passport with COPR.

Hang in there! I am a Sept 15 applicant and just got my Copr this week. Your turn will come soon.

Hi immigrantbee, thank you for the response, big relief.

Hi, CIC haven't requested any additional documentation so far. I can see in my GCMS notes that they did an RCMP trace screening on the same day Eligibility was recommended passed and found 'No Trace'. Also see that PCC from India has been added to notes and mentioned as 'No Trace'. I hope they don't request anything more and add to more delays.

Personally, I don't think they will request a PCC again unless you have a new passport, or live outside Canada for >6 months (neither of those apply to me). Cheers!
