wow congrats!! Did you pay RPRF upfront?

Yes I paid upfront, a few days after the rprf email hoax

Hello everyone,

I received a request for criminal record check(Canada) and police clearance from UAE(where I went for employment few years back).
They have asked me to email the documents. But I just want to confirm with anybody who has done it. Do I scan my criminal record certificate and fingerprints and email them? or do I have to mail them the hard copies? Because criminal record check and fingerprints were given to me by RCMP.

Any help would be appreciated. App received 25th Sep.
Thanks

Mine changed to decision made on March 26, 2016. No COPR until now.

We received your application for permanent residence on September 17, 2014.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on January 30, 2015.
We started processing your application on January 30, 2015.
We sent you correspondence on February 15, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
Medical results have been received. <---March 16, 2016

Document request was for PCC from home country. No PPR as I am from visa-exempt country, and paid RPRF upfront on Jan 18, 2016.

Called CIC Call agent last week, and he said my file is very positive.

Anyone knows how long does it takes CIC to mail COPR?

Thank you,

Is your mailing address inside Canada? did you provide the shipping label?
I can imagine it will be sent by snail mail for those of us overseas, I have read some ppl received in 2/3 weeks

Just send them scanned copies by e-mail, if they asked so. If they need hard copies, they will inform you.

Hello Folks,

I got my COPR day before yesterday from CIC. Below is my timeline:

Application submission : September 18, 2014
AOR received on : January 30, 2015
Medical request received : March 1, 2016
Medicals completed on : March 4, 2016
Paid upfront RPRF on : March 10, 2016
Medicals updated on ECAS : March 13, 2016
Passport request received : March 22, 2016
Passport sent on : March 23, 2016
"Decision made" in ECAS : March 28, 2016
COPR & Visa received on : April 06, 2016
Landing : Will do it in a couple of weeks

Time elapsed till date: 18 months and 20 days.

Good luck to everyone who's waiting.

Two of my colleagues are still waiting for PPR/DM. AOR dates are 2014-09-12 and 2014-10-02. Although there are plenty of similarities of our cases, same company, same NOC, same representative and similar background (international students). It doesn't make a lot of sense.
For those who are waiting, this waiting is not alone. It may just depend on the VO working on applications.

Oh, there are also some other factors that could create the delay... e.g. how many countries you lived in before or have visited that requires CIC to do a longer background check.

We're from the same country and didn't live in another country than Canada.

If there is one thing that made my processing faster, it might be the fact that I fired my representative and started to take over my own application, do things upfront, whereas this representative is still fking around my colleague's cases.

Yup, you're better off to take responsibility yourself.

Hey OhWow! Have you received your Ready for Visa yet?
It has been a few months now, hope your application is being processed on time.

Hello,

To all who did Upfront MR, when cic emailed you to confirm they received your MR, how long did it take ECAS to change to MR received?
