I have crossed 19months and for most of us it's continuing

Well, 19 months is from the date of AOR received, not from the date of application filed. most of the Sep 2014 applicants received their AOR in Jan & Feb 2015.. so it can go up to Sep 2016 as per the new update...

hey guys i had a decision made on my ecas on march 20th i still didnt get the corp in the mail should i call

I prefer to send emails. The call center agents aren't helpful at all.

Thanks man. I just want to know if there is any consistency in processing time because someone got their passport back less than 10 days.

Hey, not sure if there is any consistency. I received ready for visa email as well today. Many people claim about 2 weeks but I've heard some people wait up to 5. I'd like to think they won't hold onto your passport for a very long time but CIC is the wild wild west so who knows! Congratulations to you, hoping you get a speedy return!

It should be exactly 14 days including weekends but your one time immigrant re-entry visa would be issued within a week after CIC received your PP.

Got my passport back today. Just have a question (stupid but want to ask anyhow)

My son was born in Canada and is obviously a Canadian Citizen. Do I need to inform CIC since he was born after PR application was made?????

Will this hamper my landing process?

Hi,
Yes u must let them know but it doesn't hamper the process as he is already a citizen. May I know when did u sent ur passport for copr?

In your ready for visa email they should have given u the email to be sent incase for any updates.

Hi anyone with similar timeline as mine :
We received your application for permanent residence on September 10, 2014.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on January 22, 2015.
We started processing your application on January 23, 2015.
Medical results have been received. - i did it on Mar 3 and should have been received in two days or so - March 7th may be. (Exactly one month)

I dont see any update after this, called CIC and agent said all things have been cleared ( Background check and criminals i think). Anyone something like this ?

But I don't have that second line in ecas
