Looking at recent postings and Zareef's September spreadsheet, I think cic is sending out PPR's randomly to those who passed medical. There are people from Sept 22 had landed and people from Sept 10 hasn't received RPRF after medical. Cic is just being its irrational usual and yet again I can't tell how much longer it will take. Get T4/NoA ready in case cic ask for them but don't send them yet.

CIC wont ask for anything after passports. RCMP is required to asses your admissibility, which is a prior step to PPR.

ECAS update can take few days after the Ready for Visa mail. If CIC didn't ask for RCMP it's ok. Yes I did RCMP as CIC asked for it.

Hi all,
Can anyone please advise whether we can return in the next flight just after landing and completing the formalities at the Airport?
I am planning for permanent stay after 2-3 months and hence planning for just the landing formalities before CoPR expires.
Is there any legal obligation to stay any minimum amount of time after landing?
Thanks in advance.

Not that I know of. I think, you're free to go. But you might want to wait for your PR card though to not get into trouble on your return.

I will give my friend's address so that PR card can be sent. But I am not sure whether PR card can be sent in courier outside Canada.
In that case, I will apply for Travel document. Any advise on the same please?

Well, sure, your friend can send it to you. However, it's a risk. If it gets lost on the way.

Thanks a lot for your response. Then Travel Document is the better option, right?

It's better than nothing. But if you can wait, wait until you get the PR card.

It's difficult friend. I had done upfront medical on 19th May 2015 so probably my Visa (submitted the passport) will expire on 18th May 2016. But I have to give notice period to my present employer :( And then only I can settle permanently in Canada. Anyway many thanks for your suggestion.
