I was told that the company will send the fingerprints linking to UCI and AOR number. The company made a copy of original CIC RCMP fingerprint request email and I told them about what was written in the email. I will follow-up with them next week.

You might need to call CIC agent centre about your ECAS status or you can get another GCMS note.

you guys know how many days it take to get to next step after CIC receiving the RCMP from Headquarter ? what would be the next step?

Hi. You do NOT need a job offer. As for proof of funds, I think it was indicated somewhere in the PR application. ($ 11,086 for a single person, $ 13,801 for two family members??). These numbers could have changed though.

The proof of funds thing started with Express Entry. We old applications from 2014 should not have this obligation.

Hi Guys,

Yesterday I got my passport back after stamping. So the last step remaining is landing.

Just one question regarding COPR letter.
It was mentioned that this letter should have all my dependents listed otherwise it might create some issues at the time of landing and getting pr.

I have two kids (one daughter & one son) but the COPR letter contains only my daughter's name in dependents, my son's name is not listed in my dependents in COPR letter. Actually my son was born here in canada only and he already has canadian citizenship.

So in this situation, do i need to worry about it and talk to CIC or is it fine to not have my son's name in COPR because he is already a canadian citizen?

Your son is already a Canadian Citizen. He does not needed to be included in CoPR. Your son cannot be denied entry in Canada. Enjoy your landing.

Hi all finally landed at 11.50pm on march 31st.. the feeling was unique as I have been waiting for 3 years for this day. Had no issues me and my wife got in and out within 20 minutes after flag polling. The CBSA officer was nice but she did ask for my bank balance and job offer letter. Told her that I was told by CIC that it is not necessary but she said she wanted to see our employment letter..but we showed her our bank accounts and the direct salary deposits on our phone.
So for anyone landing please just take ur paystub etc.
Thank you all for being so supportive in these stressfull times.. so some years down the line we will all look back and laugh about we overcame the stress.

Hey Winterfox! Congratulations on landing. Is a job offer really needed for old CEC applicants? I thought we were not obliged to have a job offer on hand. Please advise. I am about to resign from my present job outside Canada and then land in a month from now. Do I really need to have a job offer?

A chest x-ray is very low 0.2 mSv which is similar to a dental x-ray with 0.1 mSv which is comparable to spending a day in the sun under natural radiation; not comparable to a bone x-ray where the mSv is about 10 times higher (e.g. spine = 1.5 mSv), but I get your point. I don't like doing x-rays either, because they all accumulate in the body. Doctors in Canada don't take it seriously enough from my experience and take more pictures than necessary during exams, because it pays off for them but the patient will have to deal with the consequences if any. If your wife goes to do to the exam, make sure, she gets covered.

This might help.

Are there any reasons that CIC asked your new schedule A? Such as errors on original schedule A, and/or changes in jobs in the 1-year experience claimed for CEC? And, Schedule is IMM5669E, correct?

My representative made many errors including gaps in personal history on my IMM5669E, I am surprised that CIC hasn't ask me for a new forms yet.

Yes, it is IMM5669E. Dunno the reason, but it seems like CIC wants to get an updated Schedule A.

Hello, everybody!

Can we do country out (flag polling) over the weekend? Or we can only do that weekdays?

Thanks!

US/CA borders are open 24/7 so you can flag pole at any point in the day! Early or late in the day would be the best time to go through the week.

Hi All,

I just got the fingerprints from RCMP and criminal record check too. Do we need to mail these documents to CIC or just scan them and reply to the email in which they requested these documents?

Seniors pls help.

Thanks

It is now 3 weeks after my "medical results have been received". No PPR from CIC.
I didn't see in these 2 weeks anyone here reporting new PPR, only seeing those who are preparing landing / has landed. Congrats for these who have completed this old CEC journey.

Someone mentioned a call centre agent said due date is October 2016. Will it be true?
