I just received another email from CIC asking for RCMP Criminal Record Check today.

Are you living in Canada now?

Yeah I am.

Quick Question: All I have to do is to go to RCMP main police station for criminal check record, right?

Anyone can share their experience with me the process of getting the record

I don't think it expedites the process. My medical was added to ecase at March 11th and I also paid RPRF upfront in March 6th. No update since then.

Upfront will help. I have first hand info to believe so. Go ahead and do it, you'll save a week.

cool. i will do that since canada post agents doesn't seem helpful so far. did u just call the general 1800 no? also is ur return tracking activated yet?

Yes, I called general No. 1 888 242 2100 1-1-1-3-1
And my return tracking hasn't activated yet

Hi All,

A question for those of you who paid RPRF upfront. After emailing the receipt to CIC, how did you check whether or not your payment was received?

I paid the fee of $490 2 weeks ago, but when I try to login to ECAS inputting my receipt number as a Identification Type - "Receipt Number (IMM 5401)" the system is not able to find my information.

Has anyone had trouble with CIC rejecting extra documents provided after they requested them? They sent me back an automatic message stating attachments must be less than 5mb in total, PDF or JPG format, and unzipped... but I've checked and checked my email (have resent three times, and got the same message back 3 times) and the message is definitely less than 5mb total, in PDF and unzipped! Part of the problem is their own schedule A form is 1.9mb but can't be resized. anyone any ideas or help??? I'm absolutely stumped and tried calling the helpline but of course no answer! I can't really think what else to do :o

Send 2 emails and let them know the reason.

Just got the 2nd GCMS notes.... Eligibility passed ... generated on 1st March
App Due date mentioned as 30th March 2016.....

Crossing fingers as our medicals going to expire on 28th April........

I just got my GCMS notes which I applied next day after I got RPRF request.

Just to share, I found that my file went on Second Review

Feb 19th - Officer looked at file and found everything in place. But added comment that Sche A form was not filled for 10 years. Hence Review Required.
Feb 20th - Second officer reviewed and found no gaps and no concerns. Hence Recommended passed.
Feb 25th - RPRF Request
Feb 29th - Passport Request
Mar 16th - landed.

Was the eligibility passed before Feb 19th for you

Hi Guys, Please help me with this question.

I am in India right now. I have the RPRF request from CIC which I have not paid yet. I am about to travel to another country (Finland) for 6 months for work purpose.
Would it be ok if I ask CIC to change the VISA office from Delhi (India) to Helsinki (Finland) after I receive the passport request. Here the assumption is - after I make the RPRF payment it will take another 2-3 weeks to get the passport request and by that time I might already be there in Finland.

So many things going around at the same time and its killing me.... :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Does anyone know how often we can ask for GCMS notes? I mean, how many days should be passed from the previous GCMS notes to ask for the next one?

Hi guys..
Cic received passports on march 16th and last night the return tracker was activated so I should have my passport today or tmrw. Did anybody with the same timeline check to see if their tracker is updated?
I emailed them last noon telling them that my work permit was expiring by April 8 and it would be great to land before that
