I just received an email from CIC requesting additional information. They want copies of my T4 and NOA from 2014. I also went ahead and booked my upfront medical for next week....wish I had done it earlier. My application was filed on sept 29

Hi,
I need some advise. My company wants to initiate my Canada WP and I have not told them that I have already applied for PR (Sep 10,2014 applicant, waiting for RPRF). Can we have simultaneous requests for PR and Canada WP? Is there any adverse impact due to this? Please advise.

Go to the website: https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en
· Read the instructions on each page, and click “Continue” to proceed
· Select the “Immigration” link, followed by “Right of Permanent Residence Fee”
· You must pay this fee once for yourself as principal applicant
· You must also pay this fee for your accompanying spouse or common law partner, if you have one
· Enter the number of fee payments (1 or 2) in the box beside the fee of $490
· Click “Submit”
· Proceed to pay your fees by selecting “Pay” and then follow the instructions to pay with a credit card

Once paid I printed the receipt filled in the required details and sent an email to
CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais@cic.gc.ca, CPPO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca
with CPC-CTD-Ottawa <CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca> in cc.

Make sure you include the details of all the applicants.

Also kept the subject line as

Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) Payment Receipt - APPLICATION # XXXXXXXXX - UCI: XXXXXXXX

I got another email today from CPC Ottawa saying provided information (new passport copy) is updated in the system.
Also Med was requested on 3rd March and done today. I guess it will take another week to reflect the same.

Hey a quick question it says to send the application to Sydney, Nova Scotia (Canada).
But I see everyone is sending it though CPC-Ottawa.

Whats the catch? ;D

I am not sure. Once application is submitted and AOR is received, the case is handled by Ottawa. This is my experience as well.

Any idea how long it takes to get the passport back? I sent mine last week, hoping to get it back in time for my planned US trip in the last week of March. Hoping to land then.

I'm a silent reader. This is my timeline.

Application received : Sep 8 2014
AOR received : Jan 21 2015
RCMP fingerprinting requested : Mar 30 2015
Medical done upfront
Medical sent : June 24 2015
RPRF paid upfront (with the application submission)
Additional document (T4 & NOA 2014) requested : Feb 20 2016
Decision Made on eCAS : Mar 7 2016

I think upfront medical and RPRF helped speeding up the process. (in my opinion)
I am from VISA exempt country so I am expecting to received the mail of COPR soon.

No you get an automatic email and in 2 days its linked to you file

I paid it on Thursday March 3rd.. also I just peeked into August forum and saw a person who pay on Thursday got this PPR today.
So maybe I need to hold on
