Hey guys, something to share with you...

My friend who applied under old CEC on August 25th 2014 got PPR today. She paid RPRF in November 2015 and did upfront medicals in January 2016 after the fake RPRF email. She showed me her GCMS notes which she applied in late January and received in Feb 29th couples dates ago. Back then, eligibility was in progress, security was not started and criminality was in process and there's a due date 2016/03/04. She never saw the "medical results received" line on her ECAS, but "surprisingly" she got PPR today which is 2016/03/04!!!!

As for me, i haven't received MR but i'm expecting today or this weekend. I'm going to do medical tomorrow and pay PRF immediately. I applied GCMS notes on Jan 15th and received on Feb 15th. My due date is 2016/04/04. Hopefully I will receive my PPR before or on April 4th!!!

Congrats for everyone who receive MR, RPRF, PPR! Hope mine is on its way!!!!!!

Medical done today! Admin, please update.

Also, when I went to get my blood tested, I told the nurse I was tested for blood and urine recently for the same items last November for a regular check up. She told me then I don't need to get them tested again because all records are with public health. I have a copy of the lab results as well.

This nurse was kind enough to tell me a new test can take 2 weeks to receive the results. I can ask the doctor to just send my result from last November, it would save me a week to two. I got tested today anyway.

Just wondering if I should go back to the doctors office and ask him to send my previous result? I have a very good new job that suppose to start mid April, and I am currently on implied status. I really need to get the PR asap.

Can I get some seniors opinion on this please...

I am not an expert...but my take on this would be not to complicate things....Medicals for immigration has some fixed tests that are enforced by CIC to confirm medical admissibility to Canada....now the generic tests that you might have done may or may not include all those tests...So I would suggest keep the 2 separate....
Waiting for 2 weeks may not be as bad as mixing things and confusing CIC which would further delay the whole process...This is my personal opinion.....

MR received today, Application sent 08-09-2014.

Funny thing because I just called yesterday to book an appointment for the upfront medical.

i agree... and then they have a set of physicians that can do the tests for you. they do not accept tests/medicals from any doctor.

Medicals done today in Kitchener (John Scott Morlock)

Medicals required are the following ones:
- General visit
- Urine
- Blood tested for HIV and Syphilide (only adults after 15 years age)
- Chest X-Ray (only adults after 15 years age)

For a family of 4 (two adults and 2 minors) we paid the following:
- $ 400 general visit and urine test
- $ 80 two chest X-ray
- $ 30 two blood tests

Total: $510 (only cash or debit)

We called to book the visit last friday and they were available starting the following wednesday. We booked for friday just because my wife is not working on fridays.

The doctor was awesome. Fully available to explain the process.

Blood test results will be ready wednesday next week and everything will be sent electronically to CIC.

Thank you so much for your input. I agree it's better to just keep it simple. We have waited this long for PR, better not to mess up anything at this point!

Thank you for your reply. I need to keep calm and not to get carried away. I will just follow the instruction from CIC and do exactly what they ask :D
