It is so stressful.

Hang in there mate. Something will work out. At this time they are playing with our life. I wonder if the liberals are looking at the plight of old CEC applicants.

Hi everyone,

I've been wondering about doing my RPRF upfront - I've had some conversations with employers who aren't willing to hire me until I have PR so would love to speed up the process anyway I can.

Are there any risks to paying upfront? I got my MR recently, but I could still be refused right? If I get refused can I get a refund on the RPRF?

From what I understand the money will be refunded if the application is refused/not successful. I paid mine upfront and the payment got linked to my file within 3 days.

My AOR is Jan22 as well. nothing received

oh... thanks for sharing , people always say, share good news, it will be double , actually share bad news, it will cut a half if the one who see the msg hit same problem.

I've been following this forum for 1.5 year now. Here's my first post:

Country : India
NOC: Credit Something (I work in Banking)
Application Rec: Sep 17, 2014
AOR: Jan 30, 2015
Upfront Medical: Aug 2015
RPRF Fees Request: Feb 25, 2016
Passport Request: Feb 28, 2016
Passport Received Today. Hope to have it back in 2 weeks . I have a vacation planned to San Francisco end of this month, so the timing could not be better to complete landing.

Good Luck to all. CEC has picked up pace. Hope everyone's a PR by end of this month.

Am a September 18 application and I got my medical request on March 1. I did my medicals today and the doctor said he'll send the details to CIC via e-medical in about 3-4 days.

Hopefully all you folks will get the MR soon. Hang in there

Hi..Sep 22 Applicant..Got 'Ready for Visa' mail at last..Waited for this day for long long time
Thanks to all in this forum for wonderful support...
Have one question to the seniors in this group please..I applied from India and hence selected New Delhi as processing office. But currently I am in UK.
Can I change the processing office to London and send the passport there? Nothing is mentioned about the same in the mail
Please advise...Scared now..

Still there are many people waiting for MR , and CIC is giving random answers to them like, call after 21 month call in Sep 2016 or Aug 2016 why?

Can anybody please advise how to change the VO? Do I need to just reply to the PPR mail requesting for the same?
