3.We started processing your application on February 2, 2015.
4.We sent you correspondence on June 17, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
5.Medical results have been received.

Earlier it was only 3 lines (1,3 and 5).

Upfront medicals done by me.

Anybody have any idea on what the addition of two lines suggest. Did someone look at my file.

Hey guys
My wife and I will do medical exams tomorrow.
I have a question, at the end of process when they ask for PPR, do we have to send the actual passport by mail, or scan and email? I ask this because we are planing two vacation weeks to visit family and we cannot travel if we dont have the passport with us.
Thanks

What is your timeline?

Request for passport

Applicants from visa-exempt countries

The ‘Passport Request’ letter instructs the applicant on how to send a photocopy of the bio data page of their passport and, if applicable, the bio data page of the passports of their accompanying spouse and dependent children.

Applicants from visa-required countries

The ‘Passport Request’ letter instructs the applicant on how to send their valid passport and, if applicable, the valid passports of their accompanying spouse and dependent children.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/final.asp

In short- If you are from Visa exempt country, you are required to send a photo copy of your passport. Original passport, otherwise.

Looking at the way things are moving, it looks like we may hear something in the next couple / few weeks. I am sure they give enough time to send in the passport in case you get a passport request when you are on vacation. However if you are from a visa except country, you need not mail your passport. Hope this helps.

I just checked the list, we are Portuguese so visa exempt, but we will need an eTA to travel.

Also last week together with MR my wife got PP request because her's expired last December, I replied that email, i took a good picture of the page and sent it, I hope there are no special requirements for format.

Thanks

I'm filling up my BOWP application and I have a question.
on Question 3 (at the beginning) "I'm applying for one or more of the following:"
Which one is the right answer?
* A work permit with the same employer
* Restoration of your status as a worker
* An initial work permit or a work permit with a new employer
* Temporary Resident Permit

I want to extend my open work permit while I wait for my PR process. My work permit expires July 2nd

Thanks,

Hello, I'm not with the same employer anymore so that means option 3 right?
Thanks,

It's still the first one, regardless. I don't think option 3 will lead you to an application to extend your status, but then again I never tried.

hey guys,
just discovered this interesting read..

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/econ/cec/class.asp

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/econ/cec/decision.asp

so i believe its safe to assume, mr means we have passed eligibility, and pr will be issued subject to medical and criminal background checks..

Chennai, India Rs 4500 for Adults if age more than 40 they do additional blood test which is again Rs 1900/-
For Children age less than 12 it is Rs 2000 or 1900

I believe even Bangalore will have the same cost as Panel doctors are from Apollo hospital and their costing should be the same in south.

Hey, Thank you very much for the info. I called the fortis bangalore today and they advised the amount of 4200/-
So thanks for the info.
Best of Luck.
