Hi, I am a Sept 12th applicant and received MR on Saturday 27th. Woop Woop.
Now I am thinking of pay RPRF upfront and am a bit confused by the online payment information and am hoping someone can help clarify what we would need to pay?
Application is for myself (main applicant), Common-Law Wife, 4 and 7 year old dependents.

One screen shows this: Getting your permanent resident status $490

Principal applicants (with some exceptions) and spouses and common-law partners coming with them to Canada must pay this fee. Applicants must pay this fee before CIC issues the permanent resident visa or before the applicant becomes a permanent resident in Canada.
Which suggests $980 for adults and $300 for kids, Totalling $1280

Then in a following screen it shows: Canadian Experience Class
Spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner of the principal applicant or where a transitional provision applies, a family member of the principal applicant who is 22 years of age or older $550.00
Family member of the principal applicant who is under 19 years of age, unmarried and not in a common-law relationship OR is 19 years of age or older who has been unable to be financially self-supporting since before the age of 19 due to a physical or mental condition $150.00
Fee subject to a transitional provision - Family member of the principal applicant who is under 22 years of age, unmarried and not in a common-law relationship OR is 22 years of age or older who is unable to be financially self-supporting due to physical or mental condition $150.00
Right of Permanent Residence Fee $490.00

This suggests $490 (main applicant)
$550 for common-law
$300 for 2 dependents
Totalling $1340

Can someone clarify what we would need to pay?

Thanks

The fee is $490 for each applicant. So?$490 for principal applicant and $490 for spouse. Hop this helps.

Upfront medical is the key..Lot of Oct applicants are also getting PPR mails...

CIC seems to be picking up speed. Hopefully they will clear the backlog soo and all of us will be PRs.

Medicals booked for 14 March for 2 kids and 16 March for 2 adults.

But happy to be getting them booked

Are you based in Toronto/Mississauga?

If yes, it is worth of going to Kitchner for medicals. You will get appointment tomorrow and they will upload medicals in 2 days unless you are getting delayed for personal reasons.

any September 25th ish applicants who haven't done upfront medicals or who receive MR? Tell me i'm not alone ???
