Sep 22 applicant..Upfront medical done on May 2015. Got RPRF req today..I m going to pay today..Please update the tracker..Can anyone pls guide whether I can pay online with Indian Credit card?

Are PR applications not supposed to be processed in order received? My application was received on Sept 12th and started processing Jan 29t. I see dates of people having MR requests, who applied later than myself?
Out of interest are applicants receiving MR residing in or outside of Canada?
I have been in Canada since May 2012 on closed WP as Intra Company Transferee and would dearly like to be free of that closed WP restriction.

I'm super excited to see all the updates happening here. Congrats! We will all have some good news soon

It's not in order as everyone's case is different, however there seems to be more movement of applications which were received in August and beginning of September.
And it's really a mixed bag, some people applied from inside Canada and some people from home country. Go back a few pages and also read the August thread and you will have a better idea of how things have been moving

Can anyone pls advise about RPRF payment online thru credit card issued in another country? Many thanks in advance..

Hello Friends, my application was received September 30 2014. I was wondering if it is advisable to do up front medicals?
Thanks

You pay in the same way as you would with any other card.
I paid with my debit card from Uk and had no issues

Hi I am hoping we have some experts here that can offer good information for my particular situation.
I am in Canada on a closed WP and am awaiting the decision on my PR application. Sept 2014 applicant.
How do I get from closed WP to Open WP if I need to get out of my current job before my WP expires in may 2017.
Obviously, I am hoping that I will get my PR really soon but with the experience we have all gone through, I am not expecting completion any time soon.
What are my routes to an open WP?

Many Thanks

And why can implied status not mean EXACTLY that?
My understanding was that I would be able to live and work under the very same conditions as granted by my WP but not the case.
I have lost benefits and health care status because of implied status in the past.
If CIC accept your application as complete, why not allow proper implied status and allow you to be restriction free until they make their decision?
The onus is back on the applicant to maintain status with CIC in control of the timeline.
I guess they don't want to miss out on the potential additional revenue from stressed out applicants just desperate for acceptance eh?
If you think its a horrible experience waiting from your home nation, try waiting in Canada with all the potential pitfalls.

Apologies, I am ranting. Man am stressed out here :(

You cannot apply for an open WP (BOWP) till you have more than 4 months on ur current closed WP....
Regarding the health benefits that you mentioned...I am not sure if you are aware but here in Ontario....you get 90days of grace period i.e. even though your Health card is expired...if you are able to renew it within 90 days government will reimburse any money paid on anything (that was covered by ur health card like consultations etc) if you provide them proper receipts.....

help once you get your medical, do we still need to apply to extend work permit if it's expiring in 3 month ?

So If I was to lose or leave my current job (has not happened) I would have to wait until PR came through or till within 4 months of my closed WP expiry?
I could potentially be here on implied status but unable to work until PR decision or until 4 months till WP expiry?
How could anyone call that potential outcome, implied status?

Any Sep 21st or 22nd applicants spoke to agent recently?
