Hello All,

If I do upfront medicals, do I need to snail mail the doctor letter to CIC or can I email them? If snail mail, is the address same as where we send PCC?

Cheers,

HI guys / Zareef ,

need urgent help,

Can any one help me , i applied under CEC in Aug 2014 and i forgot to declare my part experience of 7 eleven in background declaration form where i worked just 6 months and made $1400. Does it will be misrepresentation but i applied for permanent residence on the basis of my skilled full time job which is totally different.

Do i made a big blunder and what will be the consequences of not declaring any thing in background declaration form.

Please suggest and reply .

Thank you .

There should be no problem - the information you forgot to put in doesn't affect your eligibility. To be on the safe side you can email CIC letting them know you've just realized that you've made a mistake and omitted one job you've had had - one that doesn't affect eligibility - and ask if you should (and how) amend that form.

I think it's better if you contact CIC and update this information. It's best not to leave any gap in your past experience or history in Canada whether it's school, not working or working. I remember reading somewhere on the CEC application form, that we should include period of time even when we were not working.

That being said, this work experience should not affect your eligibility for CEC. If the Officer who reviews your application is nice, he or she might not care at all. Or the officer might not even notice.

I would still suggest you to update with CIC just in case they notice the income on NOA and question what it is. But I am not sure if this can cause delay or trouble in your application. The worst can happen is that, the officer did not notice anything, and by updating with them, they start having questions, but I am pretty sure if you attach an explanation letter, most officers would understand and accept your explanation.

Best of luck!
