If you're in Alberta I know someone who get 3 months Health Card extension under Implied Status.

I don't know how it works but you can ask in any Registry about it.

I did 2 times in Calgary..its simple..
Before expiry of ur work permit..(I do 2-3 weeks before) call Alberta health & ask for extension,they would be asking application no,provide them the application no...they would be extending your health card expiry by 3 months..happy ending..
Once you get new work permit..call them & they would be sending new card.

It's great in Alberta having Health coverage since first day and this chance to extend it under Implied Status

This whole PR process is just getting overwhelmingly stressful, I guess this is the toughest time of our life we all cruising through. Hopefully this will end soon..

Do you think we Sept. applicants can expect a MR request in a few weeks?

I believe February is our 17th month since we applied for PR.. .

I got my note yesterday, Feb 1. The note says that it was prepared on Jan 5.
Unfortunately, there's no news. :'(
Eligibility is blank. Security Not Started. Criminality In Progress.
Application Due date 04/04/2016.
Eligibility Due date 01/19/2016.

Hope I can see some progress in the next note in February end.

I could see some of the Sept. 15 applicants received their MR recently (meaning their eligibility has passed) but how come your eligibility is still blank Hope our turn comes soon.

I know! It's so frustrating. Hope my application was either 10 days earlier (Aug 25) or 10 days later (Sep 15)!
The note sets eligibility due date 01/19/2016 and the note was prepared on 01/05/2016 which is before the due date,
so maybe in the next note, I might be able to see something.

My ECAS account just go updated with MR results

Here's the timeline:
1. Application received Sep 15 2014
2. AOR January 29th 2015
3. MR results received Feb 2nd 2016

I did my ME in Kitchener with Dr. Scott Morlock on January 27th

Hopefully everyone gets some notification soon

Hi cecslave. Congratulations. Did you do upfront medicals? Or did you get a MR from CIC? The reason I am asking is because I see my e-CAS showing that medicals have been received. But there is no date associated with this line.

does CIC call center changed the waiting system, even no chance for waiting, just get answer, they are in high volume . does it mean, will never can get successful call ?
