Awesome. Great news that I only need my passport. I am going back to Australia in November and returning December, my BOWP does not expire until June 2016. Great news thanks for the help people I appreciate it.

Have no idea why you wanna leave Australia and come to this inefficient country. I have been there several years ago, a fantastic place! Now you have to endure the arrogant, unfair, and inefficient CIC! They treat immigrants as slaves. If I were you, I would definitely go back to Australia!

I applied on 19th did not get it yet, if you received yours please let me know.

Thank you.

Got the notes. Nothing in there. The last update on my file was of receiving the RCMP fingerprints back in April. No updates after that.

Cheers

No. It is quite frustating.

Another friend of mine who had applied under FSW in November 2014 got request for PCC yesterday and today she got medicals request. Every damn stream other than CEC seems to be moving in the right direction.

Hello Friends, i need advice:

I have applied cec in September 2014, until now no MR request.
Last month received my PNP

Do i need to proceed for new application on behalf of my PNP or just wait until this cec boat start moving?

Please advise and your opinion would be much appreciated !

I have also received the second line when I checked my status today.

Permanent Residence
1. We received your application for permanent residence on September 22, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on February 20, 2015.

Checked my status again today, and it seems they changed the processing date from Feb 20 to Feb 4

I share almost the same timeline and conditions with you, and need senior advice on this too. Has anyone in this forum actually have done this?

From what I see, what if this CEC boat might have been a sinking boat? What if CIC as despicable as it is, abandon all CEC applications and advise all applicants to continue to apply under EE?

I have called the call centre and asked if I can file PNP PR application while CEC is in process. An agent said sure, but it has to go with separate documents and pcc. Consider some agents don't know what they are doing and I am planning to contact call center again to confirm this. I have been searching CIC website for policies on 'multiple applications' but couldn't find solid and specific policy so far.

PNP letter has only 6 months validation since issuance; it would be such a shame to let it expire and do nth about it.

Another one of my thinking is: why would it be a problem, when I have a perfect PNP nomination letter as the spearhead to apply PR, even that I already have whatever applications in process? The worst case could be CIC returns my PNP application package or automatically withdraw my CEC application. CIC has absolutely no ground to deny my eligibility to PR when I have multiple applications.

Even if I can't confirm this, I think what I will do is sending out my PNP PR application and its associated documents a few days before it expires. /make it happen.

I think CIC is slowly working on old CEC applications you'll see when you check the June or July applicant thread. There are some ppl who got a MR or RPRF request recently. im not sure how many applications from last Aug or Sept are in quene, it seems our turn would be three or four months later from now.

Thank you for the update! It is a very little thing but since PR process seems frozen for Sept. applicants at this moment, good to see any update..mine has been changed to AOR date, too.

Yes, you can apply for PNP as well. I already applied in both CEC and PNP. There is no harm whatever come first and then withdraw the one which is not needed.

Thank guys for valuable advice regarding my last post!

cic is changing the Processing date to AOR received date. i personally believe that they would considered the 14 months time from the date we received our AOR.

I still believe it's form the lock-in date (date received) to Decision Made (generally PPR).

Mine also date changed from 17th Feb 2015 to 30th Jan 2015(AOR Date)..

Just to add I updated new address online & same reflected within 3 days.. I am surprised...
