from the SEP 2014 batch did any one received the MR ? please suggest ? I never thought that it will take so long...

As per my understanding after 8th Aug applicant nobody received MR,couple of exceptions in Oct but they are French applicant.

Couple of threads are going on where they are saying processing time has increased to 15 months not sure is it true or not...

It is exactly one year for my application.
My application is submitted on 19-sep-2014.

Hoping to hear good news soon, waiting for MR.

Hi I got my AOR in Feb 2015 and waiting for MR. I am getting married in Oct 2015. My WP is getting expired in Feb, 2016. Can I bring my wife through visitor VISA? What are the chances of getting it approved? Will they object because my WP is getting expired soon?

Since I will not be physically available in Canada for about a month in October, can I still apply for BOWP

Your case is similar to mine.
Applied for PR under CEC in sep 2014. Got by AOR on 02-Feb-2015.
My work permit expired on 04-sep-2015.
I got married in India on 06-march-2015.

I applied for visitor visa for my wife in India after our marriage with marriage certificate and my income proofs.
She got her visa till my Wp expiry date (i.e. 04-sep-2015), so there is a chance in your case well.

Regarding your BOWP,
You can apply before you leave to india , if you fall under 4 months rule and go for marriage and come back before your current WP expires.
But you need to be physically in canada when applying for BOWP.

so I would suggest you to apply for BOWP after marriage , once you are back in Canada.
I applied for my BOWP and SOWP (my wife is in canada on visitor visa) on 09-june-2015 .

+1 for this sugesstion.
I did the same thing. There will not be any problem to get visitor visa approved. They will give the visa until your current work permit expires.

Thanks for your valuable suggestions guys!!.
Just another question. Bringing my wife on a visitor visa should not affect the processing time of our PR by the time I add her name on the file while she is in Canada. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Also, Is it a good idea to apply for visitor visa before marriage (i mean right now) or play safe by applying it after the marriage?

Just called CIC

That guy ask for nothing except my submission date,

then he suggested me call again in Nov because it is 14 months after they receive my application in Sep .

See it from the bright side, August applicants can start making inquiries next Thursday when they reach 14 months. Just hope that they don't increase processing time before October...

As soon as you are married send an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa about you status change, they will ask for your wife's forms and supporting documents like marriage certificate, wedding photos etc.. to add her to your current PR file.

I would suggest to apply for Visitor Visa after marriage with marriage certificate, copy of your current WP, income proofs.
Before marriage rejection chances are high (she has to show proof that she will return back to home country like property docs etc..)
