The gentleman on the phone said because my EE was approved.......

Not sure if thats true because my profile is still not updated

did he mean approved as in "you got PR" ?

i am sure you first get the invitation for EE and your file processing starts only if you accept the invitation.

Did you ever accept the invitation and provided the other required documentation ? this is a bit confusing that your application was "withdrawn" by CIC.

Just out of curiosity...

Has everyone got second line in ECAS, Is anyone is this thread didn't get second line?

Hi,

I need some help from seniors here.

Topic : Upfront Medical

I am a Sept 2014 Applicant & have received AOR in Jan2015.

Like others, I also have not received the MR as of now, but would like to go for upfront medical.
(Reason : Planning for a Baby & dont want to affect medicals as Xray would be problem during pregnancy)

Queries :

1. Whats the process of upfront medical in India ? I checked with one doctor, he said that I can go for upfront medical &
he can issue a UMI number which can be linked to IME number (given by CIC in MR). IS THAT CORRECT ?
I saw on the forum that people have gone thro upfront medical & their results have been received by CIC...I am curious to know...HOW ?

DO we need to send something to CIC or Doctor will send ?

If doctor will send, then how he will link to the application ?

2. I received only 1 UCI in AOR...Is that sufficient for both of us ? or do my spouse need to have another UCI ?

Doctor asked me if I have 2 UCIs(1 for myself & 1 for wife) & I said NO, as AOR has only 1 mentioned..

Its like a mess...

Plz provide your valuable inputs, as its urgent & I dont want my file to be delayed due to pregnancy.

Regards,

So, french seakers are being processed faster than the rest?
I know french too >:(

Just got second line on my ECAS - processing started on Feb 25 (I received my AOR on 02/11 but then there were few question-answer rounds).

What happens after this? I already sent my med reports and RCMP upfront.

Do we have a "2nd line added" in the tracker? If so, please share the link for the SS.

Need expert advise..

I am Sep 2014 applicant & I have to travel to India in the month of Dec to attend a marriage, my visa expired already.

What would be the best option....TRV or wait for PR??

Thanks in advance...

Damn.. you seem to be in a soup ..
Here is a simple answer.
If you trust CIC - then wait for the PR
if you want to be safe and dont mind spending some $$ for a TRV but with assured peace of mind - Then apply for a TRV.
By the way when does your work permit expire?

Work permit Expiry is Mar,2016, before going I have to apply for second BOWP...

For applying TRV $$ is not a problem but I have seen lots of thread where Canada post lost the passport, that is the only worry.

for trv you have to send pre paid registered envelopes yourself.

just get the tracking option when sending them or get it couriered through dhl or fedex
