Does it matter if there are more than one applicant in an application? My credit card was charged a little late as opposed to other applicants whose application was received on 15th so I think my AOR is taking more time, I guess.

Rar I got some info from a buddy who applied back in jan last year along with his wife that .. if there were 2 people on the application then there are a few delays and if they spouse is not in canada then its some more delay..so im just making sure this isnt the case anymore

Same here but we applied in April and got AOR in about 5 weeks (Spouse plus 2 kids)

My application is now showing as "in process" on ECAS :)

Am I correct in thinking the next stage is where they assess eligibility?

Alright so looking at the trend looks like most of u with spouses on ur application have got ur aor pretty much when it was supposed to be given.
Thats good news.

Hey Guys,

Quick question in the case where we add spouse after we applied and received AOR.

- > We have temporary marriage certificate. Can we submit that as proof as the actual certified certificate will be available after 3 months? ::)

did u get married/temporarily married before or after u applied for PR?

No. I got married after I received AOR.

Then its best to email case processing in ottawa and ask them what all documents are required to be sent by you concerning your marriage and spouse etc

My condition:
NOC 4011
Residence: Canada
Origin: China
Visa office: Ottawa
Date filed: Sept 29, 2014
Date received: Oct 1, 2014

Please add me to the tracking list. Or can I do it myself?

Go to cic.gc.ca and click on
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/apply_online.asp?d=3&q=n
this shud take u to a set of questions which is asses if ur eligible to apply.. which u sure will be. Once u answer all questions you will receive a application code which u need to enter when u apply while applying for it online and then follow the steps from there on..

Hi,
I have done that. It all seems very confusing. Just a bunch of questions that you answer then submit. There was no questions however on me applying for a bridge visa. I guess all i do know is wait for a reply since it has been submitted?
