As per my understanding it is number of applications eligible to get AOR.

AND BEFORE CC CHARGE (as they have to remove a application from cap if cc charge is rejected)

I think all the VO have gone to for Xmas . then new year. then all of them busy on EE . we will be left in corner.

No need. You just needed Employment Letter fro your employer.

Why would you say that? You are following August thread and you know that at least 2 application numbers have been issued on Monday and another 2 on Tuesday.

Maybe what you wanted to say is that all the VO will go on holidays for Christmas, then ... [the rest of your sentence goes here].

But yes, they'll probably be on holidays between the 25th of December and the 4th of January.

Also, I want to think that CIC will make an extra effort to get rid of all the applications sent by paper this year. It doesn't make any sense that a person who applies on January gets the permanent residence 7 months before a person who applies on December.

That's correct. Even EE comes into new year, they (CIC) will never hurt old system may be bit late.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. On a website, in many places, you can find that all applications received before January 2015 will be processed according to old rules and processing time. It means that those who will get Invitation to Apply at the beginning of next year will get PR much sooner than we.

That would be my guess too. And I bet the team processing our applications has been shrunk in favour of EE.

Even I read that application received before 31 Dec will be accessed under CIC 2014 rule.

Hahaha you're right, however I find that my tendency to see the worst aspects of the process helps me to figure out the best solutions. At least that's the way it works for me, e.g. I doubt I would had ever asked my employer to start the LMIA process as an alternative plan for my BOWP application being potentially refused due to unexpected delays. It's not that I want to create a bad climate but things are looking pretty ugly for some of us. Better to get ready for the worst! But when I hit the Post button I'll forget about this and continue my life as it normally is

Question:

I went to the BOWP website and after read thorugh the page, does it require an LMO or job offer from an employer in support of the application for it to get approved, under CEC PR pending status. I suppose not, it says "for people who apply under in-canada PR classes (Live-in Caregiver class, Spouses or Common-law Partners in Canada class, Protected Persons, etc.)", not needed. Does it mean that I can continue working without LMO with my current emploer AND any other employers?

Please help to clarify.
