We can provide you with the following details about the status of your constituent’s application for permanent residence under Canadian Experience Class:
· The application was received at the Centralized Intake Office on October 20, 2014.
· The responsible office has reviewed the application and documents submitted to determine if your constituent and their family members (if applicable) meet the eligibility requirements under the class for which they have applied. The eligibility assessment was finalized on April 12, 2016.
· The medical examination results are on file and valid until April 9, 2017.
· The criminality verifications are currently valid.
· The security verifications are currently valid.
· An officer will review the application in order to render a final decision as it appears that all requirements have been met. Please note there is no specific time frame for the completion of the assessment.
· If the application is approved:
o your constituent will need to send their passport(s) to the Canadian visa office to obtain the permanent resident visa and
o the officer will issue the Confirmation of Permanent Residence document which your constituent and their family members (if applicable) will present at the port of entry in order to be granted the status of permanent resident of Canada.
· If the application is refused:
o the officer will send your constituent a refusal letter including instructions to obtain a refund of the Right of Permanent Residence Fee, if it was already paid.
