2 Hours ago i also got passport request for my wife.

There is a curious story:
Last year in July when we applied for bowp our lawyer didn't see that my wife's passport would expire in December.
We got bowp in October, myself till Nov 2017 and my wife till Dec 2015 just 5 weeks of bowp for her, she panicked right away, then we understood the reason and she reapplied the following week with the new passport.
Last week she was granted Bowp extension till Feb 2016 and today she got the passport request and we both got medical request.
That was a stupid mistake from my lawyer, it cost us extra money and our plans for winter vacations...

Cant wait till all of this is finished.

We did not get the PPR you think Akil_f1, the ppr request my wife got today was just because the one we sent when we applied to cec in sep 2014 was due to expire dec 2015.

It's free under privacy act. How to track? No idea, I just wait 31-40 days.

Then I don't know why I was charged $5 when I requested it on Feb 1. I got an electronic receipt as well.

you were charged cuz you selected acess to information instead of privacy act.. i dont know the difference but i always pay 5 bucks and get the acess to information as the privacy act doesnt apply to us..

As i have travel plan in coming March for India,what additional document i should be ready with??
I had submitted PCC & RCMP while submitting application . Also frwded updated PCC, NOA- 2014 last july after my India trip.

is it a good idea to do RCMP before travelling??

Medical sent by local physician on Jan 28th, 2016. There are no updates on ecas after almost 1 month, what is going on at the Ottawa visa office?

Btw, my current PGWP expires in June, 2016, I have less than 4 months so I am eligible for a BOWP.
Should I just wait and save a few bucks or is it better to extend my work permit now?
