If you are Indian , I believe you need to get married first to add her in the application. I have not seen Indian declaring common law union stuff yet .talk2sharad said:I also have question regarding my fiancee. She lives here in Canada with an open WP which will expire in June 2016. If I want her to include with me in my CEC application what are the pros and cons?
Should I wait for my AOR? Is it safe to do this?
I am confused in deciding that whether I should include her now once I get my AOR or should I wait and sponsor her once I become PR.
Thanks GurindarGurindar said:If you are Indian , I believe you need to get married first to add her in the application. I have not seen Indian declaring common law union stuff yet .
PRO - Once married , she will also become PR with you .
CON - There is no CON if you are adding your wife in CEC application unless she has a medical condition which restricts her to be a PR if she is restricted being a single application you will be restricted . If you don't declare her as "accompanying" in application where you being married to her , you will never be able to sponsor her again.
Being Husband of course you need to pay the fees.talk2sharad said:Thanks Gurindar
Please correct me if I am wrong, after we get married, we need to fill new forms in which my status will be married and I believe she has to submit her pcc as well. We also need to submit our marriage certificate. I will pay her application fee. Anything else we need to do besides this?
No. It seems they had holiday on 11/11 Remembrance Day, but not sure...I am also worried.syed0421 said:Any updates on fee encashed for 2174 noc ?? Bilal, talk2sharad ?
