Yes they will be able to tell you if your draft has been cashed or not. I don't know though if you have to ask the branch that issued you the draft though because for scotia bank the call centre could not provide me with this so I usually just call up my branch and they are able to tell me.talk2sharad said:Hello guys,
I have provided bank draft of TD canada trust. Upon asking, do they provide us with information that whether our draft has been cashed or not?
yes.. please let us know. We are of the same NOC code but I applied in October. Jus wanted to check if they are encashing fees for 2174 too.. Hope it is charged for you..!talk2sharad said:Thanks yokies. I am going to ask them today and will let you all know.
May I ask why do you think they are not processing applications for 2174 being a Category A NOC code? Are you worried because in FSW the cap for 2174 has been filled? They are different programs and there are no caps for Category A on CEC. So don't worry, your application is going to be processed sooner or later.syed0421 said:yes.. please let us know. Yes I know that there are no caps for category A. But from the spreadsheets if You notice, there are no cc charged for 2174 after 21st oct for August applicants. And for September applicants, cc is not yet charged for 2 people with NOC code 2174. I hope they have not updated the sheet.miglop2014 said:May I ask why do you think they are not processing applications for 2174 being a Category A NOC code? Some people are just too lazy to keep the rest of us updated. But if you are worried you can PM husseinca and ask him http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/profiles/husseinca-u526751.htmlsyed0421 said:Yes I know that there are no caps for category A. I am with NOC 2174 and my application reached Sep 04, 2014. Still my cc is not charged. I am keeping an eye on my credit card available limit to see any changes. I called credit card customer care to inquire if any decline of transaction. They said "no". Finger crossed and waiting....syed0421 said:Yes I know that there are no caps for category A. I was on the phone with CIC call centre a while ago. From what I understand, the agent says VOs think there's too many 2174s and have decided to put a stop to accepting NOC 2174 application packages. Damn, why's there so many of us!syed0421 said:yes.. please let us know. We are of the same NOC code but I applied in October. Jus wanted to check if they are encashing fees for 2174 too.. Just Kiddin.
The last 'Just Kiddin' is because of the last comment which starts with 'Damn' or because of the whole message?zareef said:I was on the phone with CIC call centre a while ago. +1 for 20/20 eyesight! The whole message, btw. CIC will never do that to us, because our "lock-in dates" have passed and no new rule shall affect our existing applications.miglop2014 said:The last 'Just Kiddin' is because of the last comment which starts with 'Damn' or because of the whole message?
