September 2014 applicants

Hello guys
All those who have send their files in September 2014 for FSW and are waiting for PER please join here. We could get updates from each one of us so that we aware of current scenario.

My file was delivered on 08-Sep-2014. No PER recieved yet.

My file reached CIC on september 5th.

It's my second application. 1st one got refused because the job duties didn't match the topics on NOC 2174. (app sent back on july 23rd, and delivered to me on august 28th). Reapplied to 2174 (sent sept 1st). Cap was still open when I sent the 2nd application.
Even though the cap has already been filled for quite some time now, I still haven't received my app back. I have faith it made into completeness check.

As people keep on saying: no news is good news. No news so far, so...

If it does return a 2nd time, at least I have all of the documents ready to be sent after express entry starts (well after my app for it gets selected).

Base from reading the international thread app trends everyday, I believe Sept 5 for 2174 is a little late. I think if it was 2173, there's still some ray of hope. Send an email to CIO now and inquire about application status.

Notes to the applicant

TAKE THIS WITH YOU TO THE PHOTOGRAPHER

Immigration photos are not the same as passport photos.
Make sure that you provide the correct number of photos specified in the Checklist.
Notes to the photographer

The photos must:

show a full front view of the person’s head and shoulders showing full face centered in the middle of the photograph;
have a plain white background;
be identical (black and white or colour) produced from the same untouched negative, or exposed simultaneously by a split-image or multi-lens camera.
The photos must:

measure between 25 mm and 30 mm (1” and 1 1/5”) from chin to crown;
have a 35 mm x 45 mm (1 3/8” x 1 3/4”) finished size.

Try to have a backup plan and resubmit using different NOC code if possible.
