All those who have send their files in September 2014 for FSW and are waiting for PER please join here. We could get updates from each one of us so that we aware of current scenario.

My file was delivered on 08-Sep-2014. No PER recieved yet.

mine too was delivered on 8.9.14. counting days since then.

how you can say this applications of September entertained in February. because on average CIO taking 3-4 months. this means applied in September will be processed in around December

I expect even before. since the backlog will decrease day by day CIC will get faster.

I need some inputs from you people

I am from India and I'm planning to apply for FSW but since I can appear for IELTS only in Nov 1st (based on the slot availability) I feel I can send my application to CIC only after Nov 15th (after getting IELTS results). I assume that it will take around 2 weeks to count and register my application

My only question is if it gets little bit delayed and if my application reaches CIC by Jan month then will I be coming under Express Entry scheme? I don't want to apply if I come under Express Entry scheme as the probability of getting selected is very less.

Could anyone in this forum please let me know if it gets little bit delayed then mine will fall under Express Entry?

Hi All,

I have few questions regarding FSW 2014. I am planning to send my docs to CIC in this week only but before sending to them i want to clear my few doubts.

1) do we have to send all passports ? Old and current both. Only current would suffice.

2) Do we have to send all marksheets including secondary high school ? ( I mean 10th grade and 12th grade as I am from India) Yes all

3) Can we use paperclip for binding those documents and forms as they are many ? I can say around 70 pages. Paper clip is the best

4) I am unable to fit all pages in CIC mentioned envelope which 9" x 12" ... so what should I do ? Should be folded to fit in

If anyone can answers above questions then it would be great for me.

what is your NOC? no new applications would be accepted after Jan 2015 under the current system so be fast.

My application was delivered to cic on 10th and recieved my DAN . Will We get any confirmation mail ? Have you Got any mail from cic.?

no you will not,
they will contact you when they will issue you PER or (God forbid) if they return your file...!

Applications applied in September will be entertained in February 2015

Hi all. My application was received by CIO on 8 September. While I estimate that September applicants will need to wait for at least two months to hear anything from CIC, I have also heard on this forum that more applications were sent in May alone than those received by CIO in June, July and August combined. So hopefully the progress of May applicants is not a general indicator for all other months...

@ niagracalling, my NOC is 2173 Software Engineers and Designers...Does NOC matter in terms of registration date which I asked for?

It depends on how fast the NOC caps are filling. 2173 is one of the hottest NOC of which already 294 caps have been filled.
