there are plenty august applicants as well whose DD or CC not charged. Sometimes depending on NOC or the complexity of your application package the time frame exceeds.

for example if there is an applicant who is bachelor with no dependents and only 1 year experienence he/she may get their file processed easily.
however an applicant with 3-4 dependents and with 10-15 yrs of experienence can take time.

more paperwork more time taken to validate ... and NOC plays a important role as well

Hello, what do you mean with "gave my CC details to CIC"? You mean your CC is already charged? Or that you just gave the CC information on the application Forms?

I have submitted my FSW application on 18 September under 4214. but hasn't received any Acknowledgement yet? not even my fee has been deducted from my account.
On other hand, on CIC website they were mentioning 71 files received by last week but now it is showing 45 files now... Is it something to worry about?

but more worried about what is going to happen after all the steps ....when we finally land in Canada. New country, people, culture and other things.

will be a totally new life out of comfort zone.

You will not receive any acknowledgement/info if you would have sent your courier thru DHL/BLUEDART. DHL delivers the courier to CIC thru local courier services. Just be patient for a week or two...Your CC will be charged sooner if and only iff your application is intact. I have sent my application on 11th-Sep & my application is delivered to CIC on 15th-Sep, my CC has been charged on 27th-Nov.
