September 2014 applicants

Congrats to all whoever received the PER.

I am Sep 10 applicant ,NOC : 2133 , CC charged 25 Nov still no PER/NER.
Many 2133 applicants till end sep - early oct got PER hence i am bit wooried now
Anybody similar to my situation ? Tried to contact them through call centre number of times but no success.
Their standard answer is they are not authorized to give any information on FSW.

NER also comes through email or CIC returns the complete package by snail mail ? In case of NER , application fee returned ?

Seems like whoever was charged from 20 Nov till 30 Nov is experiencing delays in receiving PER.
I could be wrong however I came up with this reasoning to comfort myself.

mine is exactly the case as urs.....
even my application reached 5 sep......CC-25 Nov....
still no information from CIC after that...

NER or PER is OK...but no answer in NOT OK!!!
Also, I am looking for information in case of NER, how to get refund for application and get back the application parcel....

I tried that method too based on response from this forum.... I asked that all I need is UCI number and they asked me under which program you have applied
. As soon as operator heard FSW... stop. standard answer : we are not authorize......
Nevertheless I will try again today.
Appreciate if you can share your CC charge/ PER date as your timeline appears to be similar to mine and NOC code also.

I tried calling CIC today and was able to reach operator immediately however he refused to share any info regarding UCI. After 5 or 6th attempt I was able to reach operator again and this time another operator shared the UCI number with me.

Immediately I checked in ECAS system and found that against the status it says "In process". When you click "In process" it says we received your application on..."

I believe this is a positive sign towards PER

I would like to request for advise.

I might get job opportunity in another country. I would like to know -

We need to inform that to local visa office. How will that affect to my application processing in local visa office?

Once visa received, can we go to Canada and get passport stamp and come back? Or do we need to go there and stay continuously?

When you call CIC to ask for your UCI, what is the reference number to be provided? Is it passport no, or anything else?

Hi ADJYAJ, I didn't call, but people told me they will ask your name, date of birth, postal code, address ... and the information that only you would have known.
Rule of thumb is only ask for UCI number, don't give them excuse to turn you away.

I just read post in which a Sep 2 applicant got an email from CIC mentioning that his application is being returned since the CAP had been reached.

I think that is one of my early posts but after that a reliable member from Sep 2 have have confirmed his application being accepted. I am Sep 2 and still waiting.
