Fingerprints

I stayed in USA for 5 years until 2002. It is more than 13 years ago. Should I still need FBI fingerprints?

Yes you will. As much as you have lived there for at least 6 months irrespective of when, you will need the country's PCC.

It means there is no change in status for those who did not receive PER and who has received PER. I did not receive PER and my status is same as yours.

i had called 2 times for UCI number. They did not provide me. They asked to email the query.
Frankly i think it will take some time. We should start worrying after 15 jan.

I am also in the same boat. Waiting anxiously for PER but don't know when it will appear. Is it possible that we could get UCI before getting PER by calling CIC?

Over a month after CC charge is quiet too long to wait. I will advise you call for your UCI if CIC will give it to you. If not successful, then you can ask your representative to do that for you.

Sometimes CIO skipped PER mail and transfer package to local office. Let's hope that is what happened. You should have been issued PER on a good day.
