Unfortunately, I don't have my UCI yet so there is no way I could check ECAS.

The current situation on charging and PER issuance
On CC:The earliest CC charging finally down to 62 days.Applicants waiting period gradually coming
down and will be down to the usual 30 days very soon.
On CC:Late charging could be up to 90 days now based on 1.Card declining.2.Failure in network.
Attempt on charging will be carried out 3 times and by the last attempt if problem persists,application
will be returned.
On DD:The encashment is subject to prompt processing among the parties involved in the transaction.
For application received on the same date with CC or DD mode of payment,payments are being effected at the same time.
For example:
Application received on the 9th July.
CC CHARGED:28 OCT with applicant getting alert via SMS/Email instantly or within 24 hrs.
DD ENCASHED:28 OCT with applicant waiting period for such encashment for 7-10 days but
now it is 10-20 days due to the current operational changes at CIC.
On PERER notification via email within 4-7 days as at November but the current scenario
now for PER issuance is 2-4 weeks after payment deduction.

You need to be lucky.

For my experience, I called CIC for about 5 times and only two agents are willing to help me check my file and UCI.
The others turned me down when they got to know me calling from outside Canada and applying under FSW.

Try to make more calls at different times.

Some android or ios apps can make free calls to Canada.

I said late charging could be up to 90 days now.
Also,I mentioned what could have resulted in charging problem.
I will advise you to ask from your bank if there was any attempt
on your card and if not just be patient as the good news is on the
way.

Heard of another case got denied eventually at the local VO because the spouse is not going to accompany then the spouse's points could not be added so he fell short of 67 points..

Another night without cc charging, i suddenly feel losing hope now.... I need some encouragement...

Please don't lose hope, all is not lost. I am a Sept 9th applicant, DD, NOC 1111, no news yet but I am hoping for some good news.

Can anyone pls suggest how can we enquire about our application status and what all are needed to drop an email to them... and what is the mail id.
Even if my application is cancelled due to CAP full, I want to know whether they returned our documents back or do they shred it..
