Sponsorship shows when they received the application and date they sent me the sa email

Applicant shows only application received date, they haven't even put medical results received

How come I did not receive the SA email?

my husband dont even get anything from his email...but when we checked our ECAS its says the same thing like yours except from the "medical received" coz it havent reflect that yet...
to make sure what does it mean we emailed CPC-M for followup and then they re-send the AOR and SA at the same time to my hubby's email.. so we expect anytime soon we will receive the actual letter via snail mail... :D :D :D

@ Sunil....I tried logging into ecas with my sponsor's details and I could log in. I used the UCI number instead of file number.

Unique client indentifier-UCI which is on the top of the list.

I'd tried it once because were worried that time we dont receive anything yet from both email and mailing address so i searched an email address for CIC to follow up, so i found this Question@cic.gc.ca then after 3business days they've replay and got email informing me that they've received our application Sept 24 and send our papers already to our VO coz my hubby is eligible to sponsor.. Yu can send your question with the same email where we send ours... goodluck :D :D

Why would you send an email so soon? CIC request that people don't send emails unless the application has passed the usual processing time without people hearing anything. Your application has only just gone in!

It's worth remembering that the same people that work on applications are the same VO's that have to sort through papers so they can respond to emails. So, every email they get delays the processing of applications.

Sponsorship applications are currently taking 27 days to process. They say they are, "Working on applications received on September 5, 2013". You can see that here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp
CIC don't always send AoR's (I never got one and our applications are well under way). It's not uncommon to get nothing until decisions are made.
This immigration process is a long one and requires loads of patience. I personally wouldn't email CIC until a few weeks after they say they are processing applications received on the same date as my one.

That said, if you didn't indicate that you wanted to receive notifications by e-mail it would be worth sending an e-mail to get this changed if you don't want to wait for things to come in the post.

Good points.. Thanks. I will wait.

The only update on our application is that eCAS finally shows 'Decision Made' on the sponsor application status. No AOR from the VO so far. But we only got SA last Thursday and yesterday was a holiday. So we are not expecting to get an AOR from the VO any time soon.
