thanks! the problem now, they give me refund of $475, I paid $625, what does it mean? I don't have SA yet, sooo nervous!

If you sponsored a dependent child I think you over-paid.

The fee is $75 for sponsor and $75 for principal applicant under 22 years of age so $150 total. They are also exempt from the right to permanent residence fee.
I think you paid and extra $475, so that's you got refunded ($625-$150=$475).

yes, thank u, I figured out also through online, was just too excited to pay, lol, hope to get SA sooner! it means they are reviewing my file now :-)

I just received an email requesting for my passport. But the letter did not mention any deadline, it just said "as soon as possible" along with any ore documents which have not been submitted. And not to submit the passport without the required documents. In my case I have two police clearances in process....Malaysia and Canada. I am still not sure whether I need one from Canada or not. What do you all say?

The letter is also asking to submit my old passports

Thanks Sunil. They sent the email directly to me, I am the applicant. The letter has a new UCI no and file no. I mean different than the one on SA letter. I am not quite sure about getting my Malaysian pcc soon and also not sure if I need to submit my Canadian pcc. If they start processing my file right after receiving my pp I think I should send it soon without the pcc huh? Even when the letter clearly states submit everything together. There is confusion in every stage :'(

Hello,
yyzsin here. Just received AOR on Oct 10 for application submitted on Sep 25.
Thanks

I updated your spreadsheet entry. Can you let me know the date CIC received your application as per tracking? For now I just used your date you sent the application.

I looked at the status of my application. It says decision made .. what does that mean?

"We received your application to sponsor xxxxxxx on September 24, 2013.

We started processing your application on October 8, 2013.

We sent you a letter on October 8, 2013 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

Sometimes there is a delay in them sending the email, or they could have the wrong email address. I hear you are supposed to also receive a letter in the mail. I received my SA about two weeks ago and nothing in the mail yet...

I got the AOR email by email so they have the correct email address.

Does the "Sponsorship Application Status" say Decision Made or Approved?

Also, the "Permanent Residence Application Status" says "Application Received"... and when I click on "Application Received'. I see

Permanent Residence

We received xxxxxxx's application for permanent residence on September 24, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

Thoughts?
