I got decision made on july 15th,
gcms mentions, Eligibility, Criminality, Medical PASSED AND FINAL APPROVED...DUE DATE 2014/09/10
Immigration Officer changed my NOC code and mentioned that his code was more appropriate what i do at my job .so basically he fixed it, Seems ho wrote a recommendation letter to the next officer my mentioning that the applicant is well above language benchmark.
the last time when my file was touched was 2014/07/11, on that page it mentions Copr issued at CPC OTTAWA AND AT location PRINTING, the status is open.

HOPE THIS HELPS,
my assumption is that the immigration has done his job and its at the printing office . lets wait until 10th ........
So may be near 10 sep passport request!!!

Even I had the same thing done by the VO. I had applied under a 2XXX NOC. One officer wrote a comment that he is not satisfied with my work documents but I will need a FOSS check and then forwarded to another office.

The other officer stated he verified the FOSS check and also agree that my experience is on a 0XXX level (Managerial) and not a category A/B level
He passed my eligibility stating I am eligible since I am at 0XXX level and he is convinced - I worked legally during the period and my WP was a closed WP

Nice! It appears that CIC VO's do consider if one's duties fall into another NOC. It might be a better idea to aim for NOC 0,A language scores to be completely safe on that requirement :D

I think everyone from sep got their PR that is why this forum is not that active or is there any other person who is waiting for PPR?

I am still waiting for my "Passport request". I did my medicals on 25th March. It's been almost 6 months and I did not get any update related to my "Passport request" yet.

There are so many waiting---Not only in Sep but also as early as March 2013 applicants

There is no activity in the forum - Since CIC seems to have no activity now a days :)

Right. Also, no new RPRF requests either. Only Medical requests that too at a very slow pace.

Landed on September 6th at Calgary Airport ;)

Kind of "meh" experience... the officer was very serious and looked like he was waiting for me to blink when he asked "have you been guilty of crimes in Canada or any other country".... anyway, he gave the "congratulations you are now a permanent resident of Canada" in the most neutral and unexpressive way possible.

I guess that's ok, he took barely 5 minutes to complete the landing (which I appreciate).

Anyway, good luck to fellow September applicants. Use my policy, forget about the process and time will fly... don't worry too much on "why is it taking so long".... let CIC work. Everything will turn out just fine :)

Asking this out of curiosity

Are there any bachelors in this group who have not received the PPR yet?

no nothing. They only thing that we have received from CIC is silence .
It has been a week since summers are officially over but no more activity except medical requests for February and March applicants. Has anyone approached through their lawyers?

Nothing new to report here except for that ECAS seems to be down at the moment. It's been 2 months since my last communication from CIC and that was the auto-acknowledgement for the additional documentation I sent at their request. As of yesterday my ECAS application status still showed in progress and of course nothing has come in the mail.

My work permit expires on October 16th, so if something doesn't happen by the end of this month I'll have to spend another $150 for the BOWP. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but it sure seems that things have slowed to a standstill lately.

I think MBA wants to make up a theory in which bachelors are approved BEFORE all others... which would make sense BUT for the reason that I am a bachelor with no dependants and no family members and I got approved after lots of others (I think I was approved in the last 40%)....

Anyway we are approaching to the 13 month deadline in which we can actually say CIC is delayed (but I always tell people to expect results between 20% of the estimated processing time = 11-15 months).
