Just got Passport Request 90 minutes ago 8)

CIC rocks ;D


I always think it this way: "would you pay 850 to get your PR?" "would you pay 850 to be able to stay in this country?" "would you pay 850 to continue your dream?" if any of those answers is YES then stop complaining, 850 is nothing for being accepted into Canada with a simple application, we should be grateful it is not harder ... or worse that they would not even have the opportunity for people to immigrate.

Yes, hopefully they are going through a bunch of files this week.

I checked my ECAS, it changed to DECISION MADE today in the morning. ;D

Checked my ECAS this morning as well, says in progress. Lets see, keeping fingers crossed.

BTW, did you email CIC in the last month or few weeks requesting a status update? I was thinking of doing it but decided against it. your thoughts

The site states it is 13 months for processing so if the status is still "In Process" that means everything is on time and as expected, no reason to bug them for my impatience.

I hope you get it soon! Seems little by little the wait is coming to an end.

Yes I applied on sept 5th, almost a year ago
