Mine was never activated and found my passports in the mail today, then I checked Canada post website and it says delivered. Dont rely on them updating their tracking system.

When did CPC-Ottawa received your passport??

Do i need to send the passport with my work permit or shall i remove it before sending the passport.

Remove the work permit from your passport before sending yr pp to cpc..

Congrats! Just a question, you mentioned that you were asked how much money you have, they really asked for funding?

They will ask you this but you don't "need" to show funding...This is only true for the CEC category..
Me and my buddy were asked how much money we have in our bank account..My friend said $4000 even though he didn't have as much..They didn't ask for proof..(At least not to us)..
My lawyer especially informed me about this before hand...That funding is not a requirement to 'land' in Canada under the CEC category..
If a junior BSA officer gives you a hard time..Ask for a supervisor...

I received my passports and dependents back today with COPR. Passports received in cpc office May 12th and copr issued May 15th. Planning to land this weekend at Prescott bridge as a birthday gift ;D

No, they don't ask that, as it's not part of the CEC application process.

Yes, I did. I mailed the application a week ago or so.

I need help or guidance from seniors, while taking a copy of the client COPR for my dependant the copier messed up and copied over it, now its not legible, what do I do? Do I have to send back all our passports and coprs for a new one to be issued? omg what was I thinking????!!!

relax! It's all good man.

you can have your CPR replaced from inside and outside Canada. All you have to to is
fill out this application > http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/certcopy.asp
and mail it to the Operations Support Centre ( OSC ).
I'm not sure about the current processing times tho.

Thanks Toby-processing time is 6 months my Work permit and dependant study permits expire Aug 7/14. The original is intact and this is what the Border service agent will send for Pr processing-since the client copy is the one with the writing all over and this remains with the dependant I am hoping we could land with it as is then I explain to officer as they will see it was a honest mistake then apply for a replacement as soon as we land..hmmmm

Got our passports with CoPR... However the Original entry date and last entry dates for me and my family members are not correct... Do i need to worry about this for landing? Visa was issued 15th May.

Second Q - my kid who was born in Canada and has canadian passport is not included under dependent information on CoPR. I hope this should be ok. Just wanted to get you guys view?

No, you can complete the landing with incorrect dates on the CPR.
