Yes, I got my PPR last night at 10.05 pm EST

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you get PPR then that means CIC already checked your medicals. ECAS is very unreliable.

Why do you need money for GCMS? It is free under privacy act.

Thanks for letting me know, i was under the impression that we need to pay $5.

Also, can you please let me know the procedure of applying for GCMS notes ??

I have filled the form 5563E, now what ??

Do I have to send the form by email to atip-aiprp@cic.gc.ca ??

Please suggest.

hello seniors,

today,I have received Passport request for me and my family.

But I have not received medical for my new born daughter, I have added her to application on 22nd April.

sent all the required documents.

Applied from india so normally they should initiate medical request for my daughter.

is this normal? please advise.

shall I go ahead and send passpost for visa stamping for me and my family (spouse and daughter)?

Ecas still shows In process.

Are you situated in Canada? or outside Canada?

When you apply online you do not need to submit any forms. You just go in to http://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/ and start the application. It asks general questions like name, address, date of birth, UCI etc. Just go through the process and you will see it takes around 10 minutes to complete. You use your email address, and request them to send you electronic Copy, that way it is even faster.

I just got the ' ready for visa' email from CIC. I live outside north america, and the email says

If you or any of your family members are residing outside North America and you are unable to send your/their passport(s) to Canada and/or to provide a return mailing address in North America, contact us at CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca so that we can make arrangements to print visas at another office.

Does it mean this will be done at the CIC office in London, England?

What is the usual arrangement for those residing abroad?

Congratulations!!

Seniors/Toby,

I sent my passport to CPC Ottawa on Saturday(Fedex overnight thing with enclosed Xpresspost envelope) and it got there on Monday, may 12 at around 10.30am. When should I expect my Passport to be sent back? Do you know if they mail passports on some set day of the week?

Thank you
