my ECAS status changed to decision made since 28th of April but i didn't receive PPR yet. should i contact cic?

Hi Ashish,

Wait until weekend and even then if you don't receive an e-mail then you should send an e-mail to CIC.

Vishal

I disagree, there's absolutely no good reason for emailing CIC at that stage. Again, keep the communication
to a minimum and only email if you are asked to do so.
Sit tight and wait, like the rest of us ;)

As usual I got up today morning and refreshed me E-mail.
Here it was "Ready for Visa" letter dated 07-May from CIC. :D

Since I am outside North America. I will notify CIC about the same, so that Visa can be issued at Delhi (India).

Journey is almost complete and many thanks to Toby, iamroth and everyone else for their valuable suggestions from time to time.
All the best for others who are in process... we are almost there.

ECAS Status = In Process

Cheers,
RP

Hello Bhopali,

Thanks much. I am in India currently. I had got a PPR request. There was line in the mail asking me if i wanted to get the visa tamped at anyother location. I mentioned about my place now, and they sent another PPR mail with the detail.

I contacted the VFS office and they handled my passport.

Hi AnilKumar,
I am in similar situation. I received PPR today and I replied to CIC mentioning that I am currently in India and requesting CIC to arrange for Visa print in India.
Since you have already gone though this process, how many days it takes CIC to issue a new PPR after sending Email?

Cheers,
RP

Well, then go ahead and respond to the email :) Do as they ask.

Thanks guys. Does anyone knows the hotline of CIC? I got two missed calls yesterday from unknown caller which is in connection with suspicious email from CIC. If they will call again at some point, I'll get their number and check that out if it is a valid CIC number or not.

Hi RP,
I have requested CPC-O to print my visa at another office, and it's been a week today without getting an answer. In that time I even sent them two emails. Lets see how long it will take them to send me another PPR with the new details.

I received my MR on 9th April and got my medicals done yesterday. Is the 60 day timeline mentioned in the email is for the medical examination to be done or is it for the medical reports to be received by CIC directly from the doc.

The 60 day deadline is for the medical examination to be done.
"You are required to undergo the medical examinations within 60 days of the date of this letter."

But after Medical Done, you should follow up with your Clinic in a week or so, and make sure they have sent out the reports. Don't wait for them to call you.

Hi folks,

Finally.... so happy... got the much awaited email from CPC regarding "Ready for Visa" :)
I have one question - my kid was born here in Canada and has Canadian passport. Do I need to send a copy of her Canadian Passport along with our Passports for stamping?

Thanks to all the folks in this journey of PRship..... you all have been fantastic :)

Thanks ahead!
