Awesome!! Congrats :) What's the date on the CoPR :) ?

My landing experience coutts ab,

Left lloydminster 12am the way to coutts is ok
Rented a small car most with semi trucks all night 5am
We reached medicine hat ate breakfast and fill up gas
Around 8am we found the border at coutts.
Border experience:

I parked the vehicle and go inside i asked what is the procedure
In landing for immigrants the officer told me that we need to cross
The toll gate and go to the office at the USA side, at the toll together
With the vehicles we fall in line when its our turn the asked our passports
And he directed us into the office after 8min they gave back
The passports with the letter of refusal and instructed us to do the same thing
At the CANADA side of toll.,, so we fall in line again together with the vehicles
They asked our passports and questions about current address, province of destination
If we have goods that we carry, gun, alcoholic drinks, money more that 10k. Inside the canada office, the officer asked for the copr
And contact numbers asked our address and province of destination after that we signed the copr and he said
Welcome to canada and thats it.

I prefer to go to the border early to avoid long lines of
Vehicles.

Hope this help. Just reply if anybody has questions regarding
The border landing in coutts

Much appreciated....since I am in Edmonton how much is the driving time ? what would be the best time to arrive there?

Received my COPR today. Issue date 29th April.

Request inputs dear frnds..

The original date of entry and the latest date of entry are same on the COPR and they are not the latest entry date. Can i go ahead and do my landing and inform the officer at the Port of Entry ? I'm planning to go to Niagara Falls , Rainbow bridge.

Valuable inputs are much appreciated.

PPR was received on 23rd and my Medicals were updated on 18th April.

Became a PR today along with my Wife and Daughter. :)
I took the Go Train from Union Station Toronto to Burlington. Then a Bus(#12) to Niagara. Then Niagara local bus 104. Got down near by to Rainbow Bridge.
Asked for information where is Canada Immigration building. Some one pointed us to a tall building, just in front of Hershey's chocolate store

We went in there, every one was in Black uniform. They helped us with the directions to go through door marked To USA. We paid a fee of 50 Cents each. We walked(10-15 minutes) the Rainbow bridge then we reached the Immigration section of the US side, you cannot go wrong here the path is straight and no available divergent routes. US immigration officer asked us for the purpose. And gave us a administrative refusal paper(2 minutes). He checked our Passports. Then he asked us to return back to Canada over the same path on the pedestrian walk way. On return there was a Canadian officer who checked our passport and gave us a yellow sheet(3 minutes). Then asked us to proceed to Immigration building. There we were guided by a black uniform officer to a counter. The counter guy asked our documents and address proof and PR category(CEC). He made us sit for 15 minutes and the second time he called we were asked to sign the CoPR documents and said we would receive the PR Card in 4-6 weeks. That's it we came out.

Although It was a long process to get to this, I kinda felt like is this it. It is really not sunk in yet..

Thanks Toby and others to be a part of my journey to become a PR. Good Luck and Good Bless.
