1. You will not get a permanent SIN until the CoPR is signed (i.e. until you "land"). I tried that trick and they only gave me a new temp SIN to expire the same day as my Work Permit.

2. Yes, there is no reason to hold off switching jobs.

Can you get SIN just with the COPR signed? or you need to wait until PR card?
I landed yesterday and they asked me to give them ALL of my previous wp, not only the current one, Thanks God I had everything in my car on that day

The signed CoPR is all you need You do not have to wait for your PR card.

we just had our medicals done today! I'm praying the results will be fine. The clinic said it will be uploaded in 2 weeks. Our E-CAS status was in Process since March 28, way to go.

Congratulations to all those who received their VISAS, PPRs, COPR & MR. and for those still waiting just keep the faith it will come soon.

My dependent son is from visa exempt country but my and my wife are not..

Can u pls guide how I will be getting copr for all ??

The CoPR comes in the mail, not email. Not sure how this is going to go in your case tho.
Applicants from visa exempt countries don't get a passport request and get the CoPR mailed directly.
Other applicants have to submit the passport for stamping and get it back together with the CoPR.
Guess you'll have to wait and see what happens.
