Congrats to you too!!! :)

Hi Toby and other members,

Good day. Just wondering if you could assist me with a few questions, much appreciated!

My situation is: Applied CEC on Oct,2013, AOR received on Nov, 2013. My current work visa expires in Aug, 2014, and I am planning to apply for BOWP now.

1. After filling this questionnaire online, I found that I need a medical exam for the BOWP. And I think I am about to receive the medical exam request for my CEC very soon (probably within this week, according to the form we filled, and I found out quite a few ppl applied CEC at the same time frame like me had received medical request last week already),. Just wondering if these two medical exam could be taken in one test, or do I need to take two seperate medical exams?

2. Can I book my CEC medical exam before I receive the request for the exam (by email, I assume).

3. While I am planning to apply for BOWP, I plan to apply for my husband's work permit as well (he is a visitor here in Canada). Question is, can we submit the request in one form, at the same time, or do I need to submit mine first, and apply for his when I get my BOWP?

Thanks in advance!

Btw, I just got Decision Made without PPR....last activity was paying RPRF on 19th April. Should I be worried or just that I will get PPR really soon?

does anybody knows how long it take to update ECAS after medical result gets uploaded?
Dr said medical uploaded yesterday the 27th but ECAS still not showing medical received

Good afternoon guys!

Hey Toby, I filled out an updated form for your use, I had some missing information and my App Received date was the 19th September.

I did my landing yesterday, April 27, 2014! I did it in Niagara, at the Rainbow bridge crossing.
It was unfortunately a bit anti-climatic,
I paid 50 cents
walked across the bridge
got ‘denied access to the states'
walked back to the Canadian side
Answered a couple questions
Was told I'm “officially landed”
Lost $10 at the Casino and went home..lol

Sigh, funnily enough, I'm more excited about updating my SIN number than getting the PR card! NO MORE HASSLE to get a loan at the bank, or a car or anything that requires me to give them my SIN # that starts with a “9” hahah

Also, Congrats Toby!

Will update the forum on my landing experience soon.

Toby,

Do I need to do something as the medicals have been sent by the doctor to CIC without my wife's XRAY as it is not done yet or just the note from the doctor is good enough. Please advise.

Another question...I had not put in the required address slips with the application. What needs to be done in this respect?

Regards Suraaj
