I got an email today evening from CPC after 5 p.m. asking for the PCC from India and USA.
I just sent it last week to CPC - Ottawa.

Do I have to reply to email saying that I already sent it last week or just wait for them to receive the docs this week.
Please suggest.

KB.

Yes, you may respond and tell them that the documents are already on the way.

As I am Sep 12 applicant, still waiting for MR. I need to go to USA in like 1 to 2 months , and I don't have canadian work visa , I never applied since I got my work permit. Do you think it's worth applying for a visa now ? or should I wait for immigration visa stamp ? Any suggestions ??

Based on my information, you don't need TRV to re-enter Canada if you have a valid Canadian work permit. Also, this applies only for travel between US and Canada. Of course you will need a valid US visa to enter US. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/visa-expired-but-have-valid-work-permit-can-i-reenter-canada-after-visiting-us-t99415.0.html

Hey friends,

I'm a September 2013 applicant like most of you in this thread. I got my medicals request today.

Just wondering which doctor would you recommend in the GTA? Preferably someone who uploads the results sooner than later. I'm in Toronto but willing to commute to Mississauga/Scarborough if I can get the reports submitted earlier.

Also, I've been reading this forum frequently since the September batch started receiving their MRs. Thank you to everyone who has been contributing.

hi toby,
my status remains the same as application received.
but medical received by them is added in E-Cas

I have some questions..

I have a project in Canada n I will be leaving India by 15th of April.
1.when can I expect my PPR?

As I am travelling alone..
2. Is it possible that my family will stamp their passport in India?
and I will stamp in Canada.

3.All family members have to complete the landing process after PPR?

No one will be able to tell you when you will get the PPR. Sorry, but it can take anywhere from one week up to couple of months after receiving the RPRF.

2. Is it possible that my family will stamp their passport in India?
and I will stamp in Canada.

Yes, you should be able to check that with CIC.

3.All family members have to complete the landing process after PPR?

Yes, all family members have to complete the landing when the passports and coprs arrive. However, you do not have to complete the landing at the same time, but the principal applkicant has to land first.

Hope this helps.

Question guys, i already paid my rprf for me and spouse and sent it
To the email address stated by the request do we need a response from them
Or the only response we get is the automated response?

Hi Guys,

I have received the RPRF request today. :-)

Toby,

I am planning to get married soon. There was a section in the mail :

Has your family composition changed since our last correspondence?

· Have you married or divorced?
· Have you given birth or adopted a child?
· Do you intend to get married or divorced prior to becoming a permanent resident?
· Do you intend to give birth or adopt a child prior to becoming a permanent resident?

I am somehow tempted to tell them that i am going to get married. Before that, i want to be totally sure of how it works ?

Any ideas ?

Thanks,
Anil.

If you get married after PR your wife will fall under Family category.

Processing times:

If you get married before PR, you will have to submit all documents for your wife and then wait for her application to be cleared. I believe till then you will not get any PPR.

Thanks for your reply Roth. My marriage dates are not yet confirmed. So, how can i ask them to delay my processing ?? Is there any risk involved ?

Should i go ahead with my medicals for now ??
