Yah, see now you are in Canada as a Worker/Student/visitor. So you need to get out of Canada and enter as a PR (with COPR) at any border.

You can also call CIC and make and appointment at your local CIC office, but it takes few weeks (months) to get an appointment.

For us September applicants still waiting for MRs guess we may have to wait for upto 13 months? Its frustrating seeing others get theirs and not you, happy for them but concerned why mine has not been sent yet. Is the criminality and background check done before MR requests? I presume there has been a delay for some of us due to this? Im not sure how the process is done but hoping I dont have to wait the full 13 months now that I see my peers have received their MRs...I feel like the reject now hope for us who havent received requests we get them soon and can celebrate with the rest.

Patience friend. I don't think we should wait 13 months. They will send the MRs like crazy this week

Don't worry for rejection, as I have seen if your case is getting delayed then your case is positive as you have cleared most of the pass/fail criteria , few needs attention of Sr VO

It takes about 2 hours to cross the border by car from where I am, so I guess it'll be a day trip. Probably do some shopping in Buffalo as long as I'm there.

Do you know how long the processing at the border takes? Do I need to call in advance?

On the spreadsheet there's a pretty consistent gap for Sep 4 applicants... Wonder if they haven't got MRs or if they're only hibernating..
