I just want to ask your advise regarding application of temporary resident visa. My hubby and I are planning to have vacation backhome. My question is do we have to apply for TRV or wait for the PR?

If you plan on coming back to Canada before your application will be finalized then yes,
you will need a valid visa to re-enter Canada.

I applied online. There is an option to upload letter of explanation. Though I am currently working in Canada, I did not show any job offer as this is for BOWP.

Hey man I had a few questions for you...if you could please answer. How did you apply online or on Paper? If you submitted online do you have the option to upload any covering letter of yours? Did you show any job offer in hand? Thanks in advance.

I believe this will not be required if you have submitted your application including your T4 for last year which is enough to check your canadian experience eligibility.
