I lost the "INTEREST", "CURIOSITY", "PANIC" and "ANXIETY" that we generally have with PR. In my case, I had been waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting and waiting for my PPR. It hasn't happened yet. So I have no more patience with "Waiting" :(

dont lose hope guys.............

please share your work permit expiration date.. mine expires next year june2015...
i guess they give final decision to those guys first whose work permit is about to expire....

is it making sense that we are not their priority cases because we have our work permits left for a long time?

No, this has nothing to do with it. People get PR with little, much or no time on their WP.

BTW if you get the PR before october that means you were a priority as you were gievn it BEFORE the average processing time.

We are still within the timelines..so just hang in there. For me this is the 5th month after the RRPF request. I am hoping there will be progress..

Our work permit & study permit for mu daughter will expire on Sept 12 2014, Im applying now online since it seems no chance of getting PPR very soon. Going to 14 months proccesing of our application june 2013 and Ecas status just mesical received last july 12, 2014, very frustrating.

Yeah. You are rite. We are still within the timelines. Nothing to worry as of now :)

But like most of the humans, I am also eager and want to see my PR card ASAP. Frankly, I had the same feeling of getting PR Card even before my AOR...Hehehe :)

Actual processing time is 13 months,

When they ask MR, they give 60 days time and we go for medical right way 3 am morning,
When they ask for RPRF, they give 1 month, we pay right way, even tough we need to borrow money
When they ask for passport they give 60 days, we send the passport using Emergency 30 seconds delivery right way.

Thats the way we shorten our processing time. But in general 13 months. So stay tight.

You are absolutely correct and I agree with you 200 %. However the real fact from my standpoint is, I am ready to even go to Otawa and live under a tree for a temporary period, if they say come and stay here until your processing is done :)

I was talking one of my friends dad he is immigration lawyer.
cic divide each month applicants in 13 month time frame

50% get visa in 7-8 month.
Another 20% in 9-10 month.
Another 20% in 11-12 month.
And rest on 13th month..

As he said they have to use entire time frame.

If your file passed 13 month that means something must be pending from your side. your file is moved away.

My work permit expires in October 2014 and I'm trying to remain stoic about the wait. My plan is to wait until 2 weeks prior to the work permit expiration date and if I still haven't received the CoPR then I'll go ahead and pay the $150 for the BOWP.

That's the correct way to do it.
