Have you ever tried to contact CIC about your file?

I sent only one e-mail on 10th May about the confirmation of Medical and RPRF Fees paid (I was casual in paying the fees as I was too busy at work and I sent the receipt mentioning my file number instead of UCI so I wanted to confirm that). I received a reply on 15th May (a prompt one I guess) and they said that the application is under process. Since then no communication from either side. I raised a request for GCMS notes (03rd June) but seems it was incomplete and I have not received any update.

What documents I should attach in my fresh request for GCMS. In my last request, I have only attached my Work Permit and Passport copies and I have not received anything from CIC. Seems bad on my part instead of blaming them as I may have not raised the request correctly.

No attachments needed. I have raised it 2 times without any attachment and have received it exactly 1 month later in Email. May be check you SPAM folders once
But really, my opinion, GCMS is of no use - So don't bother. It does not say when you will have final review....It is all past data which you already know anyways

They replied in email that our application is in queque and now for review by officer, no further action requires in my end at present time and wait. Is it possible to inquire again in email after 13 months to ask the cause of delay in our application so we will know the reason for waiting time? Application received June 6, 2013.

Our WP will expires on 1st week of September.

I had requested for GCMS notes in May and June. Both the reports have same status. Eligibility-passed, medical-in progress, security check-not started. Is it advisable to request one more GCMS or it is better to just wait?

Yesterday, a friend told me that CIC is walking with applications on a snail pace and it will continue for one month and so.

I guess I should wait till Sept and then request for GCMS. It would be 12 months by Sept and hope things would have progressed by then!

My study permit was due to expire first week of Sep
I know Tropcliffe WP also expires Sep
Not sure if people who are waiting are all - Sep expiring WP...
