Seniors please advise on the following:

I am planning to do my landing by driving across the border. I am probably going to go to states with my GF(she is a canadian citizen and is irrelevant to my pr application) and then come back. My question is.. are there any issues with landing by driving across with another person who is not landing. Will they just make me come out of the car and walk across while letting my girlfriend drive through?

Sorry if that doesn't make sense, I'm just a little confused :-[

I would stay in the car together when you drive to the Canadian side of the border. At the POE they'll ask you to
pull into secondary immigration and I think your GF can just wait in the car while you go inside and get the paperwork
done, or have her come with you, so you can wait together.

I think it does I think ecas refreshes once at 48 hours or so at about Midnight Ottawa time

Status changed to "decision made". It took a day after the passport request for status to change.

So as expected I just received my passport and CoPR. Visa issued date May 6th..
Planning to do landing tomorrow..Thank you all..

Completed my landing on May 10th as planned... everything went smooth.. now wait has started for the PR Card...
