sravi_12 said:Hi Toby,
I received below response from CIC about landing with visa on old passport. I am confused now. They are asking to send scanned copy of passport. How they will transfer my Visa to new passport if i send scanned copies. I am in USA right now, do you know how to contact them via phone. Your advice is much appreciated.
Dear client,
Please be advised that once you will have a new passport, the old one will not be valid. Your immigrant visa has to be in the valid passport. Your COPR will have to have a valid passport number.
Thus you should not attempt to proceed landing with two passports.
Once you receive your new passport, please, send a scanned copy of your new passport in reply to this email.

iam_toby said:Yes, email CIC the UMI# you received after your medical exam. It should be on the top of the eMedical
information sheet.
Use the instructions on my website to email CIC:

And yes, you can pay the RPRF upfront as well. Pay it online and send the filled out receipt to \\
