Hi Toby,

I received below response from CIC about landing with visa on old passport. I am confused now. They are asking to send scanned copy of passport. How they will transfer my Visa to new passport if i send scanned copies. I am in USA right now, do you know how to contact them via phone. Your advice is much appreciated.

Dear client,

Please be advised that once you will have a new passport, the old one will not be valid. Your immigrant visa has to be in the valid passport. Your COPR will have to have a valid passport number.

Thus you should not attempt to proceed landing with two passports.

Once you receive your new passport, please, send a scanned copy of your new passport in reply to this email.

Folks, Good News...I got my RPRF request few minutes back. General Toby, please do the needful on the spreadsheet.

Guys, I just received my Medical request an hour ago! I'm a september 12th applicant.

In that case, I would wait for the CoPR to arrive and then complete the landing as long
as your current passport is still valid.

Yes, email CIC the UMI# you received after your medical exam. It should be on the top of the eMedical
information sheet.
Use the instructions on my website to email CIC:

And yes, you can pay the RPRF upfront as well. Pay it online and send the filled out receipt to \\

Hope this helps.

Already done :) Updated the spreadsheet when you first posted about your
upfront medicals 8)

Don't worry about the +1, if you can't see it yet.

Before the CoPR, you will get the PPR. CIC requests your passport and stamps a visa in it, so you can complete
the landing. When you get the passport back, the CoPR will be in your passport.
